Terms & Conditions

To secure your date, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required and a signed contract at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event date. For bookings made within 14 days of the event, full payment is required at time of booking. All New York State bookings will be subject to NYS sales tax 8.875% of the total.

Travel & Logisitics

Well Plated Catering enthusiastically serves New York City, Long Island, The Hamptons, The Jersey Shore, Hoboken, Jersey City, Greenwich Connecticut, Philadelphia, Westchester County & The Hudson Valley. For destination bookings that request multiple meals, overnight accommodations must be provided for Chef.

At Home Chef's Table prices are based on up to a 1 hour radius from NYC. If your event is outside of a 1 hour radius, the Destination & Vacation Home rates will apply.

Base pricing is $1850 for At- Home Chef's Table and $2000 for Destination Catering. The price increases per person over the base cost. For example; an At- Home Chef's Table four course plated dinner is $285/pp, and Chef Ian can accommodate up to 6 guests for the base price. The 7th guest is +$285. For plated dinner parties of 8 guests or more, at least 1 server/cleaning staff member will be necessary and the price increases to $335/pp to include the cost of the server if one is not provided by the client. This number serves as the all in price for Chef, Food and Server before NYS sales tax. Chef Ian will recommend and coordinate staff for events, but it will be the client's responsibility to pay the other staff directly. Chef Ian McHugh & Well Plated Catering operate as a sole proprietorship and do not explicitly hire any other staff.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event will forfeit the 50% deposit but incur no further charges.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non refundable. Chef Ian will make every effort to reschedule you at your convenience and work with you on pricing your rescheduled event.
